Tony DelCampo

Hon. J. Antonio DelCampo, an accomplished attorney and former State Court Judge in DeKalb County, brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success to his practice. Known for his adept handling of complex cases, Tony presided over high-profile matters, including civil claims stemming from the Brian Nichols courthouse shooting case, intricate medical malpractice suits, and product liability trials with significant verdicts, including one of the largest in the state’s history.  As lawyer, mediator and arbitrator, Tony has helped parties resolve complex cases, including products liability, premises liability, medical malpractice, complex business, trucking and auto claims.

Born in Lima, Peru, Tony immigrated to Atlanta, Georgia in July 1979. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Emory University in 1991 and graduated with a law degree from Georgia State University in 1994, where he also served as an Editor for the GSU Law Review. On June 10th, 2023, Tony made history as he was installed as the first Latino President of the State Bar of Georgia, marking a milestone achievement in his distinguished career. Tony DelCampo previously served as the Treasurer, Secretary and Executive Committee Member of the State Bar of Georgia.

He has held various leadership positions, including Chairman of the Board to Determine Fitness of Bar Applicants for the Georgia Bar, and is a member of prominent legal associations such as the American Bar Association, Hispanic National Bar Association, Georgia Hispanic Bar Association, and DeKalb Bar Association. He is a Fellow of the Lawyers Foundation of Georgia, a Master of the Lamar Inn of Court, and a Board Member of Leadership DeKalb and the Oxford College of Emory University Board of Counselors. Tony previously served as a Board Member for the DeKalb County Bar Association, Chairman of the Board for the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials (GALEO), and as a committee member of the Standing Committee on Drug Courts. He maintains active membership in the Bars of Georgia and South Carolina.

Before serving as a State Court Judge, Tony was recognized as the 2000 Lawyer of the Year by La Vision de Georgia, a local newspaper serving the growing Latino community. He was also named one of Georgia Trend Magazine’s ’40 Under 40′ in 2002, honoring influential Georgians under the age of 40. Tony is a graduate of Leadership DeKalb and Leadership Georgia, and he previously served as President of the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association and Regional President of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA). He was elected Vice-President of the Judicial Council of the HNBA in 2002. Following his resignation from the bench in 2011, Tony received Super Lawyer recognition for consecutive years from 2013 to 2024.

Drawing upon his extensive experience as a State Court Judge, Tony leverages his deep understanding of courtroom dynamics and juror perspectives to deliver optimal results for his clients. He has mediated and arbitrated several multimillion-dollar cases involving products liability, negligence, medical malpractice, premises liability, and trucking accidents.

Tony currently serves as a Mediator and Arbitrator with Miles Mediation and Arbitration and, also is engaged in the active practice of law with DelCampo Grayson Lopez, LLC, focusing on complex civil litigation.

Tony has been married to Kelly DelCampo for over 30 years and has two children: Michael and Corina. 

Randall Grayson

Randall Grayson is an experienced litigator and trial lawyer. He is a founding member of the firm and has been with DGL since 2013. He began his practice in Georgia at Alston & Bird, one of the largest law firms in the country. Over the years, he has represented individuals, businesses, executives, and workers in a wide variety of cases and has tried several different lawsuits to successful jury verdicts.

Randy grew up in Georgia. He graduated from Brookwood High School in Gwinnett County. He is a 1991 graduate of Emory University and graduated from Duke Law School, cum laude in 1994. He also earned his Masters in History in 1994, while at Duke University Graduate School. He applies his background in American history to his legal practice by analyzing each case not just on its merits, but also on the social and historical value brought about by advocacy for his clients.

Randy is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and a member of the Litigation and Employment Law sections of the State Bar of Georgia. He is admitted to practice in Texas and Georgia. He has successfully argued appellate cases in the federal 11th Circuit appellate court as well as the Georgia Court of Appeals. Randy has served his community as a past member of the Georgia Council of Developmental Disabilities, the Human Rights Committee of the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, ESP Atlanta Champion Board Member, and a former board member of the Autism Society of America Greater Georgia Chapter.

He has experience with personal injury, medical malpractice, premises liability and automobile accident cases. He has also litigated business disputes ranging from breach of contract claims to claims for equitable relief and injunctions.

His experience includes litigating employment discrimination and employee benefits matters. He has achieved multi-million-dollar verdicts for his clients, including the largest employment discrimination verdict in Georgia in 2012. He won this verdict on behalf of a female executive claiming unequal pay and sex discrimination. He covers the full range of employment issues in the workplace. Randy has litigated or advised his clients in cases involving the Americans with Disabilities Act, discrimination on the basis of race, gender, religion, national origin, hostile work environments, sexual harassment, and retaliation, ensuring compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. He has litigated claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act, including collective actions, involving overtime payments, minimum wages, and worker misclassification. Randy also has years of experience with ERISA compliance and litigating claims for benefits under ERISA welfare plans, long term disability benefits, retirement plans, medical benefits, COBRA compliance, cafeteria plans, and other employee benefits.

Randy’s background and experience brings a wealth of knowledge into every case he litigates. He is a valuable member of the firm’s litigation team, heads the firm’s motions practice, and is a seasoned trial lawyer.

Dax Lopez

Dax Lopez is native of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Dax obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Vanderbilt University and his J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School, where he served as president of the Vanderbilt Bar Association and as an editor on the Vanderbilt Journal Transnational Law.  

After graduation, Dax served as the law clerk for the Hon. Hector M. Laffitte in the Federal District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.  Dax returned to Atlanta in 2002 and worked for three firms until 2010, Holland & Knight, LLP; Ashe, Rafuse & Hill; and Foltz & Martin LLC.

On August 10, 2010, Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue appointed Dax to the State Court of DeKalb County, where he presided over both criminal and civil matters for 11 years.  Dax also presided over the only Spanish speaking DUI court in Georgia.

In 2021, Dax left the bench to join DelCampo Grayson Lopez, LLC where he handles wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases involving medical malpractice, trucking accidents, product liability, and premises liability.   

Dax is a past president of the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association and the Cooper Inn of Court.  He also serves on the regional boards for both the Anti-Defamation League and the American Jewish Committee.  He is a former Trustee of Leadership Georgia and former member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials.  Dax remains active in and committed to several other civic and community organizations.  

Dax is married to immigration attorney and former State Representative Zulma Lopez.  Together they have 4 wonderful and very active children: Roberto Carlos, Sebastian, Elisa and Leo.
